Student ministries

youth aren’t the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today.

Sunday School - Sundays 10AM-10:50AM | ALL-IN - Sundays 6PM-7:30PM | Going Deeper - Wednesdays 6PM-7PM

Being a teenager is hard

Our goal is to help students become Christ-like leaders in their communities and equip them with the tools they need to discover and own their faith. Being a teenager isn’t easy, and because of that, we, at Ooltewah United Methodist, strive to provide a place that is welcoming, supportive, and encouraging to all students, no matter where they are in life or what they are going through.

Sunday School | Sundays 10AM-10:50AM

Sunday school is a time where we take a look at stories of the Bible and learn more about how to dissect and apply scripture to our lives. We do this through reading, videos, games, and discussion.

ALL-IN | Sundays 6PM-7:30PM

All-In is the place to be! Each Sunday evening we have dinner, worship, a lesson, and small group time. We then have a time of open gym where students can hang out, play games, or do sports.

Going Deeper | Wednesdays 6PM-7PM

Our Wednesday nights are intended to be a time to dive even deeper into scripture and discussion with students. We go through a book of the Bible and use different Bible study methods to study.

Retreats

Throughout the year, The Ooltewah Student Ministry provides multiple opportunities for students to go on trips and retreats. These retreats are where memories are made, relationships are formed and grow, and faith is strengthened. Some retreats we offer include a fall retreat, Resurrection Student Conference, Middle School Summer Retreats, and High School Summer Retreats.
